Liberty Medical Scheme (LMS) has been challenged for its decision not to fund a 12-week
rehabilitative programme for Gayle Beyer, a member of the scheme who was involved in a
serious motor vehicle collision in 2011 that left her with a brain injury. Gayle’s family has
publically expressed its dissatisfaction with LMS’ decision.
